At Fairhands Care, we organize group activities that provide you with a fun and social outing, where you’ll meet new people and get involved with the community.

We have something for everyone to be enjoyed by all. We often go on excursions to have a picnic or visit a local attraction. Our activities are designed to be enjoyed by everyone and we can offer support to join in if you need it.

We provide access to NDIS group activities and ensure that they are delivered with empathy and compassion. We work with participants individually to find or develop programs that we know you will love.

Some ideas for group activities include:

  • playing sport

  • attending a sporting match or other event
  • going to the local pool

  • playing board games or computer games

  • going out for social meals

  • cooking classes

  • group knitting sessions

  • going to the zoo

  • arts & crafts

We offer a wide variety of group activities to suit the unique needs of our participants, and can tailor an activity or program to suit the needs of those attending.

Choose Your Own Support Worker

Trust is key to providing support services, so every client is given the opportunity to choose their own support workers.

3 Day Turnaround

When you need support, you don't have time to wait. We can provide supports to you/your client within 3 days of receiving a signed Service Agreement.

Consistent Communication

Your first and regular point of contact is our Client Liaison and Service Coordinator, Phil. He will ensure any concerns are actioned swiftly.

How do I choose my own support workers?When we first discuss what supports you require, our team will show you through 'staff profiles' of our available support workers. This will help you to get an understanding of who they are and their interests. During this time, please request any other information you'd like to know. We're dedicated to ensuring you are comfortable with the people who will be supporting you.
Can I request to change my support workers?At any point in time, you may discuss with our Client Liaison (Phil) about changing your support workers. 
How can I give feedback about my supports? And what will happen if I do this?We take all feedback seriously, and encourage you to let us know if there's anything we could do to better support you. You can provide feedback to anyone on the Fairhands team, including Phil (Client Liaison). Your feedback will go to our internal Client Advocacy Committee, where we will make changes to better support you and the rest of our clients. We will share this information in a way that protects your professional relationship with our staff, with your safety and confidence as our top priority.
How do I know I can trust your support workers? What training do they have?All of our support workers receive NGO certified training, aligned with providing NDIS support services. All staff are also thoroughly screened through background checks and reference checks. 
Will my support workers help me with anything I ask?As long as the task can be completed safely and within the time allocated for your support services, your staff member will be happy to assist.

All of your regular support tasks will be discussed and agreed upon during the onboarding process. If you have other regular tasks that need to be included, please contact us to discuss.
